Sunrise® & Hullco Exteriors Partner with Steps2Hope of Chattanooga, TN
Sunrise acknowledges Hullco Exteriors, our distinguished dealer in Chattanooga, TN, for its involvement in Steps2Hope. Hullco recently installed new Sunrise energy-efficient windows in a home being built for Jason Smith, an Army veteran who lost both legs while serving in Afghanistan.
Giving Back Hope
On April 30, Hullco Exteriors partnered with Steps2Hope to participate in the construction of a home for local veteran Jason Smith. On July 25, 2012, Jason stepped on an IED and was critically injured while on duty in Afghanistan. Since then, Jason has battled to regain his health and learn to walk with prosthetic legs. Hullco joined over 1,000 volunteers from the Chattanooga community who gave of their time, energy and resources to build a home for Jason, his wife Lauren and their daughter.
“At Hullco, we feel it’s important to give back to the community, and it’s something all our employees can do together,” said Matt Hullander, President of Hullco Exteriors. “It’s just the culture that we have and it’s something that I wanted to do to help Jason Smith and his family.”

“All of us at Sunrise were honored to support Matt Hullander and his company in this important project. Hullco is not only a valued customer, but also a leader in contributing to its local community,” said Joe Guarino, President and CEO of Sunrise Windows & Doors.
Hullco, in partnership with Sunrise, donated vinyl windows for Jason’s home. The windows were then installed by a team of Hullco employees. Construction on the new home is scheduled for completion on May 8, with a public open house celebration to be announced.
This is the second Steps2Hope project in which Hullco has participated. Thanks, Hullco, for giving back to your community! Together we make a difference!
